Dreamz Ladies Midfielder Stella Nyamekye has indicated that she is delighted she has been selected as captain of the Black Princesses of Ghana for the WAFU Zone B U20 Girls Cup.
According to the talented player, she feels honoured and will work hard with her teammates to achieve great results for the national team at the upcoming tournament.
“I am very glad and honoured to captain the team and I am grateful to the technical team for the trust and I know the team will work together to achieve great results and we will work hard as a team to achieve success,” Stella Nyamekye said.
The youngster will be assisted by Faith Ladies’ Maafia Nyame, Afi Amenyaku of Northern Ladies, and Abena Anoma Opoku of Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the tournament.
The WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup of Nations is scheduled from Saturday, May 20 – Saturday, June 3.
Ghana is in Group A and will battle with Benin and Ivory Coast.
