An uninspiring performance from King Faisal on Friday has seen the team losing for the first time in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
The team owned by Alhaji Karim Grusah and based in Kumasi has had a bright start to the new season but unfortunately, they have been stopped in their tracks.
Before the matchday four clash against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park, King Faisal had won all three previous matches in some style.
In the away game, the opponent appeared well-oiled and hence matched King Faisal boot for boot.
After 35 minutes into the first half, Berekum Chelsea took the lead through a curling effort from Paul Attah Agyei.
Although King Faisal will come in strong to put up a fight, the efforts of the visitors could not lead to a goal, resulting in a 1-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
