Footballghana.com brings to you exclusive footage detailing how thieves managed to break into the residence of Ghanaian superstar Thomas Partey in Spain.

It can be recalled that we reported on how the Atletico Madrid midfield enforcer was robbed by some notorious thieve earlier this month. Two different raids by thieves into his home led to the stealing of several valuables.

The incidence has been happening to top players in Spain for quite some time now and has affected a number of players in the process.

Following a series of investigations into the matter, the Police has acquired video evidence of how the criminals break into the homes of the footballers.

According to investigations by Spanish police and Europol, the thieves time the players and attack their homes when they travel with their respective teams to play matches.

Meanwhile, a statement from European police agency, Europol has confirmed that a gang of five made up of four Albanians and a Spaniard, were arrested on Wednesday following a series planned raids in Madrid.

A portion of the statement explained, “It is believed that the criminal group monitored the players’ activities through their social media accounts to know when to strike. In some cases, there were family members inside the homes when the criminal group entered”.
