We are determined to avoid relegation - Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu

In a fierce battle to secure their spot in the top-flight league, Legon Cities coach Maxwell Konadu has made it unequivocally clear: they are resolute in their mission to evade relegation.

Legon Cities beat Accra Hearts of Oak 1-0 in their match week 32 game which was played on Sunday afternoon.

Speaking after the match, Coach Maxwell Konadu rallied his players to look forward to the next match against relegation candidate King Faisal.

According to him, his Royals have done their best so far to escape the drop.

“We will try to push to win again that is the forward we can't do anything than to go out there and try to win the game. I have been saying that we have not been relegated you can clearly see the points build up," he said after the game.

"Not 100 percent but we are doing our best and I think we have done our best and it is reflecting on the field of play,"

Legon Cities, currently 11th on the league table, are three points away from the relegation zone.

The team must pick enough points from the final two matches of the league to stay in the division.
