Legon Cities FC head coach, Bashir Hayford beleives his side are safe from being relegated from the Ghana Premier League.

The Royals started the 2020/21 campaign on a poor note and were touted to be relegated from the top flight.

Following the appointment of Bashir Hayford halfway of the season, the former Ashgold have been able to steer the club to the 9th position with 38 points after 28 matches.

Ahead of their matchday 29 game against Karela United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park, the experienced Bashir Hayford boasts of their relegation survival.

“We are comfortably seated at the 9th position because the gap is now widened,” Bashir Hayford told Africa-foot.com.

“So even if we lose the next match, all those behind us, even if they win they cannot catch us.

“So comfortably we are at the 9th position, yes.

“Our next game and the following game, you will see us coming up again," he added.
