We did everything to help the squad to succeed - Black Meteors management chairman Fred Acheampong

Black Meteors management chairman Fred Acheampong has stated that the committee provided everything the squad needed ahead of their doubleheader against Algeria. 

Ghana has qualified for the 2023 CAF u-23 AFCON which will be held in Morocco from June 24- July 8, 2023, in Morocco.

The Black Meteors qualified with a 2-1 aggregate win over Algeria.

Issahaku Abdul Fatawu scored again for the Black Meteors in the return leg played at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Sporting Lisbon forward scored a screamer in the first leg which ended 1-1  in Annaba, Algeria four days ago.

"I needed to make sure that everything was going according to plan because we had all these things planned. Ernest Nuamah is a local boy he is a Kumasi boy and he grew up here close to the stadium at Asafo. At least we know have another Black Star player here," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

The result yesterday gives Ghana another opportunity to compete for a slot to play at the 2024 Summer Olympics which will be staged in Paris.
