We did not do a lot of things right against Legon Cities - Slavko Matic

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Slavko Matic has expressed his displeasure with the way his lads played in their matchday 15 game against Legon Cities.

In yesterday's game, despite creating numerous scoring opportunities in the encounter, both teams were unable to find the back of the net.

In the game, the Phobians hoped for a win but the Royals proved to be a stronger side as the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw.

Despite playing with ten men from the 48th minute mark, Legon Cities managed to pick a draw against the rainbow boys.

Bortey Acquaye picked a straight yellow card in the game after a challenge on a Hearts of Oak player.

“A lot of things we do not need to do, we do. We know exactly how they will play but reaction wasn’t good…how you play 11 against 10, somebody has to take responsibility. We didn’t do that, a lot of mistakes,” he said after the game.

“Patience, responsibility we didn’t have that and we lose 2 points”, the Serbian added.

Hearts of Oak are still in the 3rd spot with 25 points whiles Legon Cities sit 14th position with 18 points after 15 matches into the campaign.
