Captain for Accra Hearts of Oak, Fatawu Mohammed has called on his teammates to turn all focus to their next match against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.

His call comes on the back of the Phobians shocking 1-0 defeat at the hands of Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium in the opening weekend of the season.

Though the Rainbow lads dominated play, they could not get in the goals and had to succumb to the defeat after Jonah Attuquaye netted the only goal of the game for the away side.

At the post-match press conference, Hearts of Oak captain Fatawu Mohammed stressed that he is sad with the team’s result. After admitting that he found the game difficult, he insists all attention should not be turned to the match week 2 clash against Medeama SC.

“I didn’t find the game easy because it has been a long time I get much playing time. It wasn’t easy but as time goes on it will adapt”, the defender said.

He added, “Am very sad because first much defeat is very very painful but it is part of football so we have to focus on our next game and continue”.
