Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu has stressed on the importance of his players taking their chances in the remaining Ghana Premier League games after sharing the spoils with Berekum Chelsea.

The Nsoatre-based club were held by Berekum Chelsea in matchday 24 of the domestic top-flight played at the Nana Koramansah Park on Sunday.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, both teams were unable to find the back of the net as the game ended 0-0.

After the game, Konadu, who believes his side dominated the game has urged his players to take their chances in subsequent games.

“It was a regional derby and we anticipated such a tough test against Chelsea. They are a good side. In general, it was a good game but honestly speaking, we played about 55-60 percent of possession but then, playing without scoring especially when you are at home is not the best”

“The way the Ghana Premier League is, you need to at least pick home points but that is football, we drew and got a point, we have taken it in good faith. It football and anything can happen. We could have also lost but we drew”

“We only have to take our chances in games when they come. We were a bit ahead of Chelsea because we were playing home and were piling pressure on them” he said.

Nsoatreman FC are seventh on the Ghana Premier League with 34 points.
