Accra Hearts of Oak's communications director, Kwame Opare Addo, says that the Phobians pay their players more than any other Ghana Premier League team.

Opare confirmed that the Phobians are now winning the race in terms of paying players in Ghana, and there are no wage difficulties at the GPL reigning champions' camp.

Lots of players always complain about low pay in the Ghana Premier League they then jump on any that will give them more money elsewhere, but the Accra-based club's spokesman says that its players are paid properly.

Speaking with Agorohene Nana Yaw Opoku on Accra-based Original TV Opare Addo said:

“Hearts pays its players better than any other club in Ghana for now and sometimes when you hear stories about salaries and that we pay very little it becomes almost laughable. The welfare of the team is paramount to the board chairman,”

Hearts of Oak is currently preparing to play Dreams FC in the MTN FA Cup.
