We should have scored more goals - Coach Otto Addo admits after narrow win against Nicaragua

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has admitted that his Black Stars should have scored more in the game against Nicaragua on Tuesday.

The Black Stars today engaged the senior national team of Nicaragua in an international friendly match as part of preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

In a game where the Black Stars dominated play for the entire 90 minutes, the team only won by a goal to nil courtesy of a strike from Abdul Fatawu Issahaku in the first half.

Speaking in his post-match interview, Coach Otto Addo said he was satisfied with the performance of the Black Stars.

He however expressed concern that the team could not score more goals.

"I'm satisfied with today's performances but you can criticise not scoring more goals . I will score it 7/10 but surely we should score more,” coach Otto Addo said.

Before today’s game Ghana lost 3-0 to Brazil last Friday. The Black Stars will play one friend match before going to Qatar for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
