Ghana coach, Otto Addo has expressed his disappointment in his team's defeat to Nigeria in an internationally friendly encounter.

The Black Stars clashed with their rivals, the Super Eagles at the Stade de Marrakesh in Morocco.

However, Addo's side conceded in each half before Jordan Ayew converted a spot kick in the dying minute of the game to end the game 2-1.

Speaking after the game, the 43-year-old expressed his frustrations following the defeat saying his side were a bit unlucky.

According to him, a draw would have been a fair result.

"I don’t like to look too much about the positives because we lost. But I think we were a bit unlucky the way we conceded the first goal as the ball hit the hand but like I said we were unlucky.

"First half they had the better chances but in the second half we really, really did well. If you want to come to the positive signs, the things we did in the second half with 10 men were good.

"We controlled them; we were a little bit unlucky with the finishing. I think what killed us was their second goal because we were close to actually equalising but in all, a draw would have been deserved but like I said we lost and we have to improve and move on," he added.

Meanwhile, the Black Stars will face the Cranes of Uganda on Tuesday at the Stade de Marrakesh with Otto Addo hoping to record his first win following his reappointment.
