The Frenchman has found game time limited so far this season and hasn't been on top form; andwith Jose Mourinho blessed with options going forward, it could be a very good move for both parties.

With United hunting a top four spot, sending Martial out on loan could be a good move if he helps the Hammers beat some of the Red Devils' rivals in the process - he would also be able to recapture his form in a what has been a lacklustre West Ham side compared to what we saw of him last season.

It has been reported that Mourinho will also allowyoungster Marcus Rashford leave the club on loan in the upcoming window to get some game time under his belt. West Ham have already been linked with moves for Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi and Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge.

Rashford has been playing on the wing for United and hasn't scored since the back end of September, so has found it hard in the Mourinho eraso far and a loan move could be perfect the youngster to get some goals.

West Ham have also been linked with foreign talents such as Gregoire Defrel and Porto star Laurent Depoitre to answer their striker problems and must bring in a forward this window if they are to survive the Premier League drop.
