Ghanaian player Wilson Akakpo has signed for Egyptian side Ittihad of Alexandria.
Akakpo joins Ittihad from Al Masry following his unpaid wages.
The 25-year old is reported to have signed a two-year deal and will be an intergral member of the team.
Ittihad currently lie in 15th place with 14 points, and are hoping that their new signings can shore up a defense that has conceded the fourth most goals in the Egyptian Premier League this season.
