Ghanaian International Winfred Amoah scored for his Austrian side, SK Sturm Graz in their friendly match against ESV Mürzzuschlag on Friday, June 21, 2019.

The player who spent the 2018/2019 season with SK Sturm Graz u-18 throughout their campaign in the Austrian Regional Liga is currently part of the senior team who are making preparations ahead of the upcoming season.

He played part in the teams friendly last Friday which was eventually rained off. Before the heavy downpour though, SK Sturm Graz had already taken a 3-0 lead and on their way to probably recording a win with a huge goal difference.

Winfred Amoah scored on the 44th minute to drag the game beyond the reach of ESV Mürzzuschlag after Philipp Hosiner had bagged a brace.

The Austrian born Ghanaian midfielder is expected to be given more playing time in SK Sturm Graz’s subsequent friendly matches as they look to give him a part in their first team ahead of the 2019/2019 season.

The player made 28 appearances for his team’s u-18 side where he managed to get on the score sheet 2 times. He is regarded as an asset for the future and will develop to become an integral part of the SK Sturm Graz setup.
