Ghanaian international Winful Cobbinah was in action on Friday night when his FK Tirana side drew 1-1 against rivals FK Partizani Tiranë.

In a fiercely contested derby yesterday at the Selman Stërmasi, neither side could grab the available points in the Albanian top-flight league.

Despite a pulsating encounter in the first half, it ended goalless with both teams squandering the few opportunities that came their way.

Later in the second half, FK Partizani Tiranë took the lead on the 76th minute through William Cordeiro and nearly run away with the maximum points.

It will however not happen with FK Tirana scoring in added time courtesy a strike from Ernest Muci.

In line with the result, Winful Cobbinah has lost a wager he had with the President of FK Tirana Refik Halili before the game.

It was agreed that the forward will be allowed to request for any amount of money at the end of the match if he scored or played well to help the team beat their rivals. Unfortunately, he did not score.

This season, the former Hearts of Oak poster boy has played 28 matches for his team in the Albanian top-flight and has scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists.
