Ghanaian top-flight side, Nsoatreman FC has described winning the MTN FA Cup this season as a prestigious achievement.
The Premier League side last Sunday locked horns with relegated side Bofoakwa Tano in the finals of the MTN FA Cup.
In a game played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, both teams scored a goal in 90 minutes and had to play extra 30 minutes.
With no goal in extra time, Nsoatreman FC secured a shootout victory to claim their first MTN FA Cup trophy.
That success saw Nsoatreman FC becoming the 19th club to win the MTN FA Cup trophy.
In a post on X today, the club celebrated the victory with a post that read, “Officially, we're the 19th club to win the MTN FA Cup trophy since 1958. This is a very reputable achievement to pride ourselves on.”
