Ghana's chances of acquiring Francis Amuzu remain intact after missing out on Belgium 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup squad.
The biggest soccer mundial has been scheduled for November and December this year, with 32 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy in Qatar.
Few days to start of the tournament, all 32 participating countries have been unveiling their squad for the much-anticipated tournament.
Amuzu, who plies his trade for Anderlecht has missed out on the final squad for the mundial, leaving the door open for Ghana nationality switch.
The Ghanaian-born Belgium youth international recently refused to rule out the chance of playing for the Black Stars of Ghana.
"Ghana or Belgium? It's 50-50. Yes, I was in the Roberto Martinez pre-selection for the last international matches. Going with Ghana to the World Cup? It's possible, but I don't know," he said as quoted by Voetbalnieuws.
Meanwhile his compatriot Jeremy Doku has earned a place in Roberto Martinez final squad for the World Cup.
Belgium has been housed in Group F against Canada, Morocco and Croatia.
