The market value of Wydad Casablanca defender Yahya Atiyatallah has increased five times following his impressive performances for Morocco at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to reports.

Atiyatallah was instrumental against Portugal in the quarter-finals of the World Cup, and was behind the decisive pass that enabled Youssef Al-Nusairi to score the decisive goal as the Arab country reached the semi-finals for the first time in history.

The 27-yera-old has made four appearances for Morocco and has helped his side keep four clean sheets in five matches, only denied 100 per cent record by an own goal conceded against Canada in the group stage.

Atiyatullah's superb display is attracting interest from several clubs in Europe ahead of the January transfer window.

It believed that Wydad Casablanca will reject any offer to keep hold of their prized asset.

Morocco will face holders France in the semifinals at Al Bayt Stadium on Wednesday.

A win over France will see Morocco become the first-ever African country to reach the final of the World Cup.
