Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has been working through his list of player sales with sports chief Robert Fernandez.
Diario Sport says Valverde has told Robert he only wants to add top class signings this summer, rather than squad additions, and is prepared to see several fringe players sold to boost his spending power.
Douglas, Munir El Haddadi, Cristian Tello, Thomas Vermaelen and Sergi Samper have all been informed they can leave. Jéremy Mathieu and Lucas Digne can also go for the right offer, with Arda Turan and Rafinha in the same situation.
Valverde is also prepared to sell two major stars should they be successful in signing PSG ace Marco Verratti.
Landing the Italian would see both Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic forced to the sidelines and Valverde would be prepared to see both, particularly Rakitic, move on. The coach doesn't see either player as "essential" for his new season plans.
