Yahaya Mohammed released by Tanzanian side Azam FC

Tanzanian Premier League giants Azam FC have released their Ghanaian striker Yahaya Mohammed from the club, footballghana.com has gathered.

The former Aduana Stars striker was released by the club after failing to replicated the form that saw him make a big money move to East Africa.

Having left Ghana as the highest paid footballer in the country, the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko's goal machine was expected to take the Tanzania League by storm.

However, the bulky bearded striker could not much his potential.

Yahaya Mohammed will not be part of the club's plans anymore and will have to look elsewhere for a Club.

The hugely experience forward might return to former club, Aduana Stars who are champions of the Ghana Premier to relaunch his career.

However, winger Enock Atta Adjei and goak keeper Razak Abalora remain with the club.
