Welsh midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Ethan Kwame Colm Raymond Ampadu is joining Leeds United on a permanent move.

The youngster joined the Blues from Exeter in 2016 with a lot of potential and managed to impress.

It did not take him long to earn a senior team debut as many fans admired his talent as a versatile player.

Last season, Ethan Ampadu was sent out on loan to play for Italian Serie A outfit Spezia Calcio.

Unfortunately, the club could not compete properly in the 2022/23 football season and suffered relegation at the end of the campaign.

After returning to Chelsea, a decision has been taken for the player to end his stay at the English Premier League club.

The 22-year-old is now joining English Championship outfit Leeds United on a permanent move.

This move will see Chelsea earning a £7 million fee plus add-ons.

It is understood that Ampadu is elated with the move and focused on helping Leeds United to make a quick return to the English Premier League.
