Youssoufa Moukoko, the 12-year-old Borussia Dortmund attacker, scored a hat trick at the weekend to bring an emphatic end to his one-match goal drought.

Earlier this month, Moukoko had failed to score in a game for the first time since breaking into Dortmund's under-17 side as his teammates battled to a 3-2 win at Preussen Munster, but he single-handedly fired them to a 3-1 success over Arminia Bielefeld's youngsters after they had fallen behind to an early goal.

The hat trick means Moukoko has now scored 16 goals in seven matches for BVB's U17 team and is already close to the "minimum of 20 goals" that his old Dortmund U15 coach, Peter Wazinski, tipped him to score in the age group.

Moukoko was born in Cameroon but has already represented Germany at U16 level, scoring twice when starting against Austria.
