Fiorentina midfielder, Alfred Duncan is expected to make a return to the Black Stars for the 2022 World Cup playoff games against Nigeria.
The 28 year old who has been a key figure for the Serie A side has been out of the senior national since 2016.
Duncan was handed a call up during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] hosted in Cameroon but refused to honour the call up accoing to Ghana Football Association [GFA] president, Kurt Okraku.
However, with Otto Addo in charge and with the tasking to qualifying the Black Stars for the 2022 World Cup, Duncan is set to return to the team for the crucial games.
The Black Stars will host the Super of Nigeria on March 25 at the Cape Coast Stadium before travelling to Abuja for the return leg game on March 29.
Duncan, who is aofmrer Inter Milan star has made 25 appearances in all competitions for the La Viola in the ongoing campaign.
