Medeama coach Evans Adotey says he will not change his winning team to accommodate Zimbabwe attacker Kudakwashe Mahachi in his starting XI in Friday's CAF Champions League match against Yanga SC.

Adotey says he will add only talisman Jonathan Sowah to his eleven players that won against CR Belouizdad.

Kudakwashe Mahachi has found it difficult to come by playing time since joining the Ghanaian team at the start of the ongoing season.

Speaking ahead of the game to be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Adotey was blunt about his decision on changing his starting lineup.

He said, "Mahachi has been part of the team from the two games played except that he is on the bench. And I am not here to change my winning team. I must confess.

“The only change is Sowah replacing one of the attackers in the team. Mahachi is still on the list but will start from the bench."

The game holds huge significance for both teams as Medeama could put themselves a favourable position to qualify with a win while Young Africans are aiming for their first win.

Medeama are third on the group table with three points after a win and a defeat, while Yanga are bottom of the group with just a point.
