Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC returned to winning ways in their match week four game against Bechem United on Saturday afternoon.

The Yellow and Mauve staged a comeback to beat Bechem United 2-1 at the Bechem Fosu Gyeabour Park.

Today's victory was their second win of the season after suffering defeats against Legon Cities and FC Samartex.

The home side started the game in a controlled manner in the early stages.

Bechem United scored the first goal in the 27th minute through Cephas Kofi Mantey. He hit the ball into the bottom left corner from a very close range.

After halftime, the champions regrouped and started the second half in a positive way.

Bechem United remained solid at the back stopping most of the attacks from Medeama's strikers.

Medeama finally scored the equalizer in the 74th minute through star striker Jonathan Sowah. Substitute Ebenezer Nkrumah scored the winning goal for the away side to end the game.

Bechem United will play Legon City in their next league game while Medeama will clash with Nsoatreman.
