The Queens will face their counterparts from Guinea in a first-leg encounter of the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games on Friday, July 14.

Speaking at a pre-match press conference on Monday, goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan said she feels confident and ready for the opponent.

According to her, the Black Queens are focused on booking a ticket to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games.

“As a goalkeeper, you always need to be ready and as team Black Queens, we work as a team, so we know what we can do it. Our coaches have given us a lot and I believe if we put everything into practice, definitely Guinea will be a step over.
