2024 Olympics qualifier: Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle names starting XI to take on Benin

Head coach Nora Hauptle has named a strong starting XI to take on Benin in the first leg of the 2024 Olympics qualifiers.

The two nations previously met in a friendly match in February, with the Black Queens securing a 3-0 victory in Cotonou.

Since the Swiss international took over in February, the Ghana women’s national team has played seven games and scored 26 goals without conceding any.

Nora Häuptle supervised Black Queens' final training yesterday.

Portia Boakye captain's the side today, Princella Adubea starts on the wing, Jennifer Cudjoe starts, and goalkeeper Findiib Konlan is in post for the Queens.

Defender Janet Egyir and Azumah Bugre are also in the starting XI.

Ghana’s Black Queens are playing as the away side. The Queens remain poised for total victory as echoed by head coach Nora Hauptle in her pre-match press conference.

The game will kick off at 4:00 pm at the at Stade de l’Amitié – Général Mathieu Kerekou.
