Abdul Gazale lauds Asante Kotoko players after big win against RTU

Interim Asante Kotoko coach, Abdul Gazale has lauded his players following their big win against Real Tamale United on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors hosted the Northerners in the matchday 25 games at the Baba Yara Stadium and recorded a 4-0 win.

Young defender, Augustine Agyapong opened the scoring account as the home side ended the first half with a win.

After recess, Ugandan striker, Steven Mukwala scored a brace before Brazilian import Medeiros De Souza scored during added time as the Reds returned to winning ways.

"Like I said before the game, we had prepared the team technically and tactically for the RTU game because we've how they play and haven't been losing off late so we made up our mind to come in all out in order to get a goal and once we get that."

Kotoko now sit 5th on the league log with 38 points and will host regional rivals, King Faisal in a night football in an outstanding GPL week 21 fixture on Wednesday.
