Abdul Majeed Waris poor form in the French Ligue 1 continued on Friday night as his Lorient side were hammered 3-0 by title-chasing AS Monaco.

Waris, 25, has now played 11 games without scoring in the French Ligue 1.
Lorient are now firmly rooted to the bottom with 7 points and won two and drawn one of their 13 league matches.

They were dispatched courtesy goals by Radamel Falcao, Thomas Lemar and Gabriel Boschilia.
Waris has been in dismal form recently even at international level with his last national team goal coming in 2015 during the qualifiers of the 2017 AFCON.
