AFC Wimbledon striker Kwesi Appiah ruled out of Bristol City game due to injury

Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah has been ruled out of AFC Wimbledon's game against Bristol City on Saturday due to his recurring injury.

The forward, 27, has struggled with injuries since his return to AFC Wimbledon after joining from Crystal Palace.

The forward has been out for sometime now but was close to making a return before he was hit with another injury.

Meanwhile, he is expected to make a quick recovery following his latest set back.

Kwesi Appiah was the toast of Ghanaian fans following his exploits with the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.

He scored two goals and form a good partnership with Asamoah Gyan as Ghana finished second at the nations Cup.
