Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax has informed midfielder Kudus Mohammed that he must reach an agreement on personal terms with Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion, or else the transfer deal will be abandoned.

The Dutch club has further stated that if no deal is reached with Brighton, they will consider offers from other clubs willing to make a higher offer.

The development was reported by Dutch journalist Tim van Duijn, who revealed that Ajax has granted Kudus Mohammed a 48-hour window to finalize personal terms with Brighton and Hove Albion.

The English club had already reached an agreement with Ajax to acquire the talented midfielder for a transfer fee of 40 million euros.

However, both Ajax and Brighton now await the green light from Kudus Mohammed to proceed with the transfer and conclude the deal.

Despite a verbal agreement between the two clubs on Saturday, August 5, 2023, the Ghanaian player has yet to accept the offered personal terms.

Kudus Mohammed's impressive performances have caught the attention of several top clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Borussia Dortmund. However, as of now, none of these clubs have submitted formal bids to Ajax.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder still has two years remaining on his current contract with Ajax, having signed a five-year deal with the Dutch club in 2020 following his transfer from Nordsjaelland.
