Ajax midfielder Frenkie De Jong says he's staying grounded over transfer rumours swirling around him.
The talented 20 year-old has been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal this season.
De Jong told Ziggo Sports: "Yes, there is a lot of interest, but I just renewed my contract here.
"If I'm okay, I'll stay with Ajax, so at the moment I'm only thinking about Ajax. I want to develop myself here, become a regular first team player, especially in the midfield, and then we will see."
Asked directly about City's interest, De Jong smiled: "I've read it too, haha, I do not think I'm ready to play in the midfield of Manchester City or something like that."
