Asante Kotoko have received double injury boost as Felix Annan and Evans Owusu have returned to light training at the club’s training grounds ahead of the new season.
Felix Annan is currently recovering from an ankle injury that has kept him out for three weeks now, while, Evans Owusu has also started light training after a month on the sidelines to nurse a thigh injury.
The pair are racing against time to be ready for the start of the league on December 27-29.
The key duo are likely to miss Sunday’s Presidential Cup clash against arch rivals Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.
