Bayern Munich Defender Mats Hummels Gives Real Reason Behind His Bleached Hair

Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels has admitted that the reason behind the decision to bleach his hairwas due to a lost bet at Oktoberfest.


The 28-year-old central defender was seen sporting a bleached-blond barnet during his side's 3-0 win over title-hopefuls RB Leipzig.

Social media went into meltdown during Bayern's table-topping win, and not only because of the result, but because of the state of Hummels' hair.


Following the game the German international explained the decision to dye his hair, claiming that he was forced to do it because of a lost bet at this year's Oktoberfest.


He claims to have losta game of skittles during a visit to Munich's beer festival, with his forfeit being bleach-blond hair.
