Bernard Tekpetey returns to first team action ahead of FK Žalgiris game

Ghana's Bernard Tekpetey, who has been a key goal scorer for Ludogorets from the start of the season, has returned to the first team.

The Ghanaian attacker has so far scored three goals in Bulgaria's top division and one goal in the Champions League qualifying matches.

In the first game, Razgrad welcomes the champion Zalgiris of Lithuania. On Thursday, August 18, the match will take place at the Huevefarma Arena.

After a season-long loan to Ludogorets Razgrad from FC Schalke 04, Tekpetey permanently joined the team on 29 June 2021.

Ludogorets Razgrad is currently 5th in the Bulgarian league with 10 points after four games. Their league against Sofia on Sunday was postponed.
