Black Satellites coach Yaw Preko sacked by GFA

Black Satellites head coach Yaw Preko has been sacked by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following their decision to dissolve the technical team of all the National teams.

Coach Preko, who took over from Jimmy Cobblah in June last year guided the team to the All African Games, however the team performed poorly at the tournament.

He has been relieved off their duty with immediate effect after GFA's decision on Thursday evening.

The statement read:

"The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dissolved the technical teams of all national teams with immediate effect. The decision affects both male and female national teams.

The GFA extends its appreciation to all coaches and members of the respective national teams for their contributions to our teams and Ghana football.

"We wish them all the best in their endeavors."
