Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng watches Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp in Crystal Palace comeback win

Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng was at Selhurst Park to watch Ghanaian duo of Jordan Ayew and Jeffery Schlupp as they starred in Crystal Palace win over Aston Villa.

The duo featured as Palace recorded their first victory in the English Premier League campaign on Saturday.

Patrick Vieira’s side inflicted a 3-1 win over their opponent to secure all points at stake in match week 3 of the league.

Ayew and Schlupp both started the game and ensured that the points stayed in south London.

Ayew started and lasted 70 minute, while Schlupp came off after 82 minutes.

Boateng was pleased with the Black Stars duo's performances in the Eagles' first win of the season against Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa.

Ghana assistant coach George Boateng scouted two Black Stars & Crystal Palace players Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew during their 3-1 win over Aston Villa.

Boateng, a youth coach at Aston Villa, has been scouting Ghanaian players in the United Kingdom ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

Black Stars technical team, headed by Otto Addo, is doing everything possible to assemble a competitive squad that can represent Ghana proudly in Qatar later this year.
