Borussia Dortmund to count on former Ghana coach Otto Addo to sign Mohammed Kudus

Borussia Dortmund will count on former Ghana coach Otto Addo to secure the services of in-demand midfielder Mohammed Kudus who is on the radar of a host of clubs, Footballghana.com can report.

The Ajax star took the World Cup by storm, scoring two goals and providing an assist in two matches.

Kudus is enjoying a blistering campaign this season, having scored ten goals across all competitions for the Dutch champions.

Earlier report suggested that sporting director of Dortmund Sebastian Kehl had held talks with Kudus agent ahead of a potential transfer in the summer.

But according to the Bild, Dortmund could face competition from top clubs in the English Premier League due to his exploits at the World Cup.

It is said Manchester United, Chelsea, Newcastle United and Arsenal are all interested in signing the Black Stars midfielder this window.

But one thing that could work in Borussia Dortmund’s favour is the fact that Otto Addo, who coached Ghana at the just ended World Cup, is part of Edin Terzic’s coaching staff.

And the hope is that the 47-year-old can help convince Kudus to reject interest from the Premier League and join Dortmund.
