The Chelsea man also made history as he lined up alongside his brother, Thorgan, for the first time in the national side.

It appeared as if Hazard's big night would end in defeat after the Dutch had taken the lead thanks to Davy Klaassen's penalty butAtletico Madrid's Yannick Carrasco found an equaliser eight minutes from time to spare Belgium defeat.

Whilst Hazard showed glimpses of his brilliantform for Chelsea in recent weeks, a heavy challenge towards the end of the match left the winger limping.

It is currently unknown whether Hazard has simply picked up a minor knock or if it is anything more serious than that.

The Belgian has been in fine form for his club this season, scoring seven goals in 11 appearancesin the league, which has helped Chelsea recover from a poor run of form.

The Blues sit second in the table and look set to mount a serious title challenge this year, helping to banish the memory oflast season's miserable campaign where they finished 10th.
