Herrmann was part of the Germany U17 national team that beat France 5-4 on penalties in the EURO final in Budapest. Normal time had ended 0-0.

This is the first time since 2009 that a Germany U17 team has won the EURO title.

In a competitive and heated game, Christian Wuck's team, who had already defeated the defending champions France 3-1 in the group stages, put on a hard-running and aggressive performance.

One of the standout players for Borussia was a young player named Paris Brunner, who along with Bayern's Robert Ramsak scored four goals total and consistently threatened to score.

Almugera Kabar kept things tight on the left flank, and Charles Herrmann, especially in the first half, was involved in some beautiful play down the right wing.
