CONCACAF Champions League: Kwadwo Opoku features as LAFC win big at Alajuelense

Ghana forward Kwadwo Opoku featured as his Los Angeles FC won heavily at Costa Rican club Alajuelense in the round of 16 of the CONCACAF Champions League.

A Denis Bouanga hat-trick means the Major League Soccer side were 3-0 winners over the Alajuelense on Friday dawn at Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian winger lasted 76 minutes before being replaced by Stipe Buik.

Bouanga scored the first of the game two minutes after the first half before adding the second 20 minutes to the end of the game.

The Gabonese forward wrapped up the scoring with an 89th minute strike as his side go into the second leg with a huge advantage.

The reverse fixture will be played at Banc of California Stadium on March 20, 2023, in Los Angeles.
