Emmanuel Agyemang Badu pledges readiness to help grow Ghana Premier League

Former FIFA U20 World Cup winner, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has stressed that he is ready to play his role to help grow the Ghana Premier League.

According to him, it is important that players abroad return home to play in the local league when possible to help push the league to get the recognition it deserves for the benefit of young players.

“The most important thing is we need to be here to help the league to get the attention it needs and to help the young guys who are coming so that they can get the experience,” the former Udinese midfielder told Radio Gold in an interview.

Having disclosed that it is possible he will be playing in the Ghana Premier League next season, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu was quick to add that his desire is to sign for Asante Kotoko.

“So I will be available for any club that will come but my first priority everybody knows, it’s in Kumasi [Kotoko],” Badu shared.
