Former Black Stars forward, Kevin-Prince Boateng has advised young players to follow in the footsteps of Portuguese great Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to him, the Manchester United legend is the best example for young players because of his impressive work ethic that has characterised his career.

“For a young player, Cristiano must be the best example, because he works hard, and he also has talent, of course,” KP Boateng said in an interview.

He continued, "But Quaresma or Nani were also even more talented when they were young. But he works like crazy. He is so passionate when it comes to football that he always wants to be the best.

“That's why, if you're young, you should want to be that. It should be like that for all footballers... except for Messi because he is already incredible. He does things that no one else can do. That's why I see him as if he were out of this world. That's why I think that, in this world, Cristiano is the one who rules and Messi is above.”

Ronaldo and Messi over the last few decades have ruled football and are set to retire in a few years as the two greatest footballers of all time in the history of the game.
