Ex-Man Utd, Everton full-back Neville rejects West Ham role under Moyes

Former Manchester United and Everton full-back Phil Neville has rejected the chance to join David Moyes' backroom staff at West Ham United.

The Scotsman is set to be announced as the new manager of the Hammers on Tuesday.

He will replace Slaven Bilic, who was sacked on Monday after two years in the role.

But ESPN say that Neville, Moyes' former player at Goodison Park, will not be joining him at the London Stadium.

The Express suggests that Neville is keeping himself open to taking on the vacant Sunderland job.
