Former Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku emerged as the hero for Moroccan club Olympique Khouribga when locked horns with Difaa El Jadidi on Sunday.

Opoku was called to action in the week 10 encounter of the Moroccan second-tier league and contributed immensely to propel his side to victory.

The Ghanaian international opened the floodgate for his outfit in the 31st minute as they went to the halftime break with the advantage.

And with no additional goal in the second half, Olympique Khouribga cruised to victory to merit maximum points.

The 24-year-old will hope to maintain his scoring form for Olympique Khouribga in Morocco.

He made his Black Stars debut under former head coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor.
