Immediate-past Chairman of the Ghana Premier League Board Welbeck Abra-Appiah has been enstooled the Krotihene of Kwahu Mpraeso in the Eastern region.
Mr Abra-Appiah now goes by the stool name Nana Abra-Appiah.
He was the Chairman of the Premier League Board for ten years before retiring.
He was replaced by incumbent Ashford Tetteh Oku last year.
He also served as chairman of the Ghana Premier League Board in the year 2000 and helped in the organization of the local League before leaving office in 2015
The veteran football administrator was recently acknowledged by the Ghana Football Association for his selfless services in helping develop football in the country.
He is also a member of the Management Committee of the Black Stars.
