GFA to decide on its reps for the autonomous league committee at its next meeting

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed that its Executive Council will choose representatives to serve on the Premier League autonomous committee at its next meeting.

The country’s football governing body is required to nominate 2 people to join 3 members from the 18 Ghana Premier League clubs to form a 5-member autonomous committee.

With the clubs having already selected their members, the Ghana FA says it will appoint persons from its outlet at its next meeting scheduled for the ending of this month.

“The Executive Council of the GFA will decide on its two representatives to serve on the five-member committee at its next meeting”, a communique from the country’s football governing body has said.

The committee when fully formed will formulate policies and advice the body on how to implement the autonomous league.

The 3 people selected by the Ghana Premier League clubs are Togbe Afede XIV, Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mr. John Ansah, Operations Manager of Ebusua Dwarfs, and Delali Senaye, the CEO of Inter Allies.
