The Ghana Armed Forces have honoured Black Stars attacker, Kudus Mohammed following his exploits at the just-ended 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The tri-service branches; Army, Airforce and Navy, presented the award to the promising star.

The Ajax forward starred for the Black Stars in Group H, scoring two goals and registering an assist in three games against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.

The 21-year-old became the first Ghanaian player to score twice in a FIFA World Cup game after scoring a brace in Ghana’s 3-2 win over South Korea, a game in which he won the Man of the Match Award.

Despite Kudus’ highly rated performances, the Black Stars missed out on the Round of 16 stage after suffering a 0-2 loss to Uruguay.

Kudus is gearing up for the continuation of the 2022-2023 season with Ajax Amsterdam after he reunited with his teammates.

The former Nordsjaelland player has 10 goals and two assists in 21 games in all competitions this season.

Meanwhile, Kudus has been linked with a number of European clubs, including Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea.
