Ghana forward Edwin Gyasi signs one year deal to join Albanian club FK Kukesi

Ghana international, Edwin Gyasi has signed a deal that will see him play in Albania for one season.

 The experienced winger last season played his football in Israel where he was signed by Beiter Jerusalem.

After ending his stay in Israel, Edwin Gyasi has now inked a deal with Albanian club FK Kukesi.

“Football Club Kukesi announces that wing striker Edwin Gyasi is officially a footballer of our team! The 31-year-old footballer has signed with our club for 1 season, thus becoming the youngest player on the team,” the Albanian club announced on Monday.

The club statement added, “Gyasi comes to Kukes from the Israeli championship, being part of the Beitar Jerusalem squad last season, as in the past he also played for teams such as Grafschap, Heracles, Roda, Alesund, CSKA Sofia, Dallas, Samunspor and Bolusport.

“Gyasi is a production of AZ Alkmar academy, as he was also part of the Twente youth team. In the past, Gyasi has also played with the Ghana national team.

At FK Kukesi, Edwin Gyasi will have a big role to play to help the club in the 2022/23 football season.
